North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a bilingual SLPA to provide speech therapy services in patients’ homes or daytime facilities in Texas. The role requires a current SLPA license and pediatric experience, with preference for home health background.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the care team, schedule regular supervision with an SLP, and stay updated with professional knowledge. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
