Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car in Frisco, TX is seeking a bilingual SLPA to join our pediatric-focused team. The role requires English/Spanish fluency and a valid Texas SLPA license, with at least six months of full-time clinical experience in pediatric settings.

Responsibilities include delivering skilled speech therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities, coordinating with supervising SLP, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team to meet individual goals.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• At least 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Deliver services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedule weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas guidelines.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plan care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Update knowledge through education, publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhance the department's reputation by taking ownership for new and diverse requests and adding value to job accomplishments.
