Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to deliver skilled speech therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities in Texas. You will work under supervision to implement physician-ordered treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a TX SLPA license, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and at least 6 months of clinical experience in pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
