Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Addison, TX seeks a bilingual SLPA to provide skilled speech therapy services in home or facility settings. The role requires licensure in Texas and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience with pediatric populations.

You will collaborate with the care team, schedule supervision with a licensed SLP, and contribute to patient goal achievement while advancing your professional development in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Delivers services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with disciplines to plan and address patient goals.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Keeps knowledge up-to-date via education, publications and professional involvement.

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
