Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a Special Education Teacher. Under the principal’s supervision, you will instruct, monitor progress, track outcomes, and maintain classroom discipline for students in assigned classes.

You must hold a valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 endorsement, and work collaboratively with case managers, counselors, and general education staff to support student needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education with LBS1 endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
