Job summary

Voices College-Bound Language Academies seeks a Special Education Associate Teacher to support in classrooms under supervision, implementing instructional programs and aiding supervision, testing, and instruction of students.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for accelerating student progress and will work in a Voices SpEd Inclusive model, collaborating with teachers, education specialists, and administration to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma and either 48 college units or demonstrated instruction support skills.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred for communication with diverse communities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with behavior management to engage all students.
• Provide instruction to students with IEPs under supervision.
• Support co-teaching models and prep skill-specific lessons.
• Assess students and record results; cooperate with staff to improve practices.
• Participate in professional development and school events.
