Job summary

Voices College-Bound Language Academies seeks a Dual Immersion Elementary Teacher to inspire students under the Principal's supervision. The role emphasizes high expectations, college preparation, and mastery-based instruction across grade levels.

Teachers may supervise associates, student teachers, and parent volunteers when applicable. Candidates must hold a CA Credential: Multiple Subject or intern credential and a valid bilingual authorization (BCLAD or equivalent).

Qualifications

• CA Credential: Multiple Subject or eligible for intern credential.
• Valid bilingual authorization (BCLAD or equivalent).
• Knowledge of California Common Core Standards.
• Committed to improving outcomes for students from low-income communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans consistent with Voices guidelines and provide individualized instruction.
• Plan activities suitable for the subject, grade, abilities, and backgrounds.
• Maintain high expectations and foster college readiness for all students.
• Assess progress, differentiate instruction, and track student records.
• Collaborate with teachers, consultants, and the principal to align curriculum.
