Qualifications

• Bilingual certification required for respective positions
• College hours for Title I campus 48 required or a score of 464 on the ParaPro test or HQ Certificate from another district
• College hours, high school diploma or GED for Non-Title I campus
• Communicate and work with students
• Maintain effective working relationships
• Minimum clerical skills
• Good physical and emotional condition
• Work with confidential material
• Paraprofessional aide certificate required once employed
• Additional Qualification for Title I Campus: College hours, 48 minimum or a score of 464 on the ParaPro test or HQ Certificate from another district

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with the preparation, implementation, and data collection of student academic, behavioral, and functional goals, accommodations, modifications, and delivery of supports
• Deliver accommodations, modifications, and other supports to students with special education services in whole group, small group, or individually, as described in the IEP.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and behavioral plans. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidential student records.
