ICEF Public Schools in Los Angeles seeks skilled teachers to build a community-centered classroom and empower students to reach college-ready goals. You will implement rigorous standards, collaborate with staff, and engage families to support student growth.

Candidates must hold a valid California teaching credential with English Learner Authorization, or be pursuing credentialing through our Alder Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Valid California teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English Learner Authorization.
• Proof of California Credential in Progress (university email acceptable).
• Candidates who don't hold a single subject credential or have a pathway to obtaining a California teaching credential will not be eligible for a teaching position.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Alder Residency Program offers credentialing in one year.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain a joyful, safe, structured classroom environment with high expectations.
• Effectively execute assigned curriculum and reach every student regardless of background, disability, or English language fluency.
• Communicate regularly and proactively with parents regarding student performance.
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers and staff to cultivate a team-oriented professional culture.
• Differentiate instruction for students with special education needs.
