ICEF Public Schools in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an on-site role at View Park Preparatory Academy. You will design differentiated instruction, deliver evidence-based supports, and manage IEPs to help students access the curriculum.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in ongoing professional development, and support inclusive practices across classrooms. Exempt 11-month position; requires a Bachelor’s degree and valid credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Valid credential for teaching in Special Education required or in process.
• EL Authorization or CLAD/ bilingual credential desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction aligned to standards.
• Manage IEP accommodations and coordinate planning with the team.
• Monitor student progress and document assessments using Illuminate.
• Create a nurturing, structured classroom with behavior supports.
• Collaborate with Special Education and general education staff.
• Participate in professional development and communicate with parents.
• Work hours as required and adhere to professional code of conduct.
