Job summary

SBM is seeking an Operations Manager – Shift in New York to direct company programs and ensure policy compliance with contract duties between SBM and its customer. The role requires planning, scheduling, quality controls, and budget oversight to deliver safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 2–5 years of experience, is bilingual, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or related field with 2–5 years of experience.
• Bilingual a plus; strong verbal and written communication; customer service and problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop work schedules to ensure adequate service.
• Prepare schedules for service personnel and assign routes.
• Inspect establishment for program compliance (safety, quality, service).
• Conduct quality audits to ensure work meets expectations.
• Audit and maintain inventory supply and equipment.
• Investigate new equipment and methods for improvements.
• Review customer service requests to identify causes and solutions.
• Implement policies and goals; coordinate contracts and proposals.
• Analyze budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in market development to increase share and growth.
• Ensure site space and facilities are optimized.
• Support plans, budgets, and schedules, including cost estimates and contracts.
• Monitor financials: labor hours, overhead, expenses, billing, forecasting.
