Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• 1–3 years practical experience in registration, collections and insurance verifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate patient registration and demographic intake.
• Verifies insurance information and benefits; obtains pre-certifications and authorizations as needed.
• Explains hospital financial policies and up-front collections.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and other regulations.
• Cross‑trained to support multiple areas within Patient Access.
