Maximus seeks a Bilingual Spanish Outreach Counselor to support the Southeast Houston area including Pasadena and La Porte. The role involves assisting clients with enrollment and eligibility for Texas Health and Social Services Programs, via phone and in person, while building relationships with community organizations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required, with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Must be fluent in English and a specified secondary language (Spanish).
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required.
• Reliable transportation with valid Texas driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Medicaid knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interface with complaints and refer to appropriate departments.
• Maintain knowledge of managed care related to client programs.
• Meet contract requirements for complaint processing and PHI/PII handling.
• Assist consumers in enrolling, disenrolling, and transferring into health plans.
• Travel within the region for outreach; field visits and community presentations.
• Document activity in automated systems daily and maintain confidentiality.
