Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist (English/Spanish) in Salinas, CA. This onsite role focuses on guiding Medi-Cal enrollees through enrollment, connecting families with healthcare resources, and helping them understand coverage options.

You will work closely with customers to achieve program goals and document progress. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills in English and Spanish, customer service experience, and a passion for serving low-income and diverse

Qualifications

• Fluency in threshold languages (English and Spanish)
• Six months of customer service experience
• Presentation and public speaking experience or outreach background preferred

Responsibilities

• Foster strong customer relationships and monitor engagement across programs.
• Collaborate with customers to meet program goals and sustain eligibility for services.
• Conduct workshops and deliver training related to enrollment and benefit allocation.
• Guide customers through the application process and access to services such as education, healthcare, transportation, and childcare.
• Maintain accurate case notes and document activities for program staff.
