Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County is seeking a part-time Driver to transport program participants to and from community and work sites, under Transportation Director supervision.

Shifts run Monday–Friday from 6:30am–9:30am and 2:30pm–5:30pm; location is Day and Transportation. Pay ranges from $19.66 to $20.45 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within a supportive community organization.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with at least two years driving experience.
• Demonstrated clean, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely by securing passengers and equipment at all times.
• Ensure someone at home accepts passengers before release; verify staff or family present.
• Obey traffic safety rules at all times.
• Lock doors and raise windows after evening shift.
• Keep vehicle clean; maintain fuel level above half tank.
• Complete daily walk-around sheet and submit to supervisor.
• Shuttle vehicle to and from repair shops as needed.
