Job summary

foxconn group in San Jose, CA is seeking an SMT Process Engineer to develop and implement advanced SMT processes on the production line. You will oversee machine operators and technicians, monitor quality, and drive improvements in yield and cycle time.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering, 2+ years in electronics manufacturing, and strong analytical skills. English is required; Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field; MS/MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years engineering experience; electronics/manufacturing a plus.
• English fluency; Mandarin or Vietnamese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced SMT processes and methodologies.
• Perform direct and failure analyses for SMT applications.
• Lead improvements in yield, quality, cycle time, and delivery.
• Lead a team of SMT Machine Operators and Process Technicians.
• Monitor manufacturing quality and draft manufacturing plans.
• Record data to improve programming and efficiency.
