Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students’ communication development in a school-based setting. This full-time contract runs through late May 2027, with a predictable schedule and no evening or weekend work.

The ideal candidate holds valid SLPA licensure, is bilingual in Spanish, and has experience with children in education. You will assist with therapy plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with the SLP, teachers, and families.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA licensure required.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Experience with children/adolescents in education preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Flexible to varying caseloads and needs.
• Passion for student growth and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language support services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist with implementing therapy plans and IEPs.
• Collect data on student progress and document performance.
• Engage and motivate students during individual or group sessions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with supervising SLP, teachers, and families.
