Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a school-based setting in North Carolina.

The role partners with licensed SLPs to deliver therapy, document progress, and help implement IEPs in a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule. This full-time contract extends through the school year, offering professional growth with supportive supervisors and a collaborative educational team.

Qualifications

• Current, active North Carolina SLPA license required.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all student interactions.
• Experience with diverse caseloads or willingness to learn.
• Reliability and commitment to the full assignment duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to students on a caseload of approximately 75.
• Prepare materials, document student progress, and help implement IEPs.
• Support classroom teachers to promote language and speech skill development.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small group settings, both in and outside the classroom.
• Communicate progress and collaborate with educational teams, families, and supervising SLPs.
• Adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines for therapy and documentation.
• Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
