Job summary

Meeting Street is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist - Bilingual (Spanish/English) for Early Intervention in Providence, RI, working 40 hours weekly. The role involves developmental screening, assessment, and IFSP planning within a multidisciplinary team to support children from birth to age five in the child’s natural environments.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Rhode Island.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with infants and toddlers.
• Valid pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental screening and evaluation for birth to three years in native language as part of a multidisciplinary EI team.
• Interpret screening/evaluation results and explain them to families with health literacy in mind.
• Adapt environment for infants/toddlers and select/fabricate assistive devices respecting family culture.
• Develop and implement IFSP with family and EI team.
• Create therapeutic activities to prevent or minimize impairment and promote skills acquisition.
• Include family throughout evaluation/IFSP process.
• Collaborate with team to collect information for individualized evaluation/IFSP.
