Spaulding Rehabilitation in Rhode Island is seeking a part-time Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who speaks Spanish. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, and collaborating with other healthcare

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy is required.
• Rhode Island Speech-language Pathologist license is required.
• CCC-SLP certification or ASHA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and related disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans through a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about speech and language disorders and provide strategies for improving communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
