Job summary

Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Shortman Funds Services Representative to assist participants with training and scholarship benefits. You will work under the Office Manager and Evening/Weekend Manager, handling inquiries and guiding members through benefit eligibility and course registrations.

The role requires strong communication skills in English and Spanish, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience; call center experience is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; ability to communicate clearly.
• Proven customer service experience and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone in a professional manner and fielding member requests including high volume Course Registration periods.
• Providing excellent customer service in face to face and phone interactions with participants.
• Collecting and analyzing data to resolve problems in real time and educate participants on benefits.
• Proficiency with LMS, V3, and online training fund systems; ensure accuracy of records.
• Enter member updates in V3 database and ensure LMS accuracy and scores.
• Maintain LMS and NYS DOL records for the Window Cleaning Apprenticeship program.
