Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Mission-driven Member Services Representative (Benefits Specialist) for our NYC team. You will support participants with benefit information and eligibility across Health, Pension, and Legal Services, while following standard workflows to maintain high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; some college preferred; health care/employee benefits and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use multiple software programs.
• Experience with benefits processing in a healthcare, pension or similar setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to participants to resolve eligibility or benefit issues.
• Analyze data to resolve participant inquiries in real time.
• Follow workflows to resolve questions and ensure quality standards.
• Manage inquiries from vendors and through various benefit lines (Health, Pension, SRSP, Legal).
• Operate multiple information screens to research and resolve issues.
