Job summary

Brillante Academy is hiring a Part-Time Van Driver and Custodian to join the Operations Team. The role focuses on safely transporting students to and from school and maintaining a clean campus to support learning.

The position requires bilingual English and Spanish abilities, experience with elementary students, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and families. Work hours are approximately Monday through Friday, 6:00-8:00 AM and 3:15-9:15 PM.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience working in a school and/or with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work the schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00-8:00 AM and 3:15-9:15 PM.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school via the McAllen Van Route.
• Take daily bus attendance.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Communicate behavior challenges to manager/school leader.
• Clean campus after school hours to ensure readiness for the next day.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
