Job summary

Brillante Academy is seeking a Part-Time Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school on the McAllen route. The role includes attendance, student relations, and assisting with arrival and dismissal, with additional tasks as needed.

Bilingual English/Spanish required; a valid driver’s license with a clean record is essential. Schedule roughly 6:00–8:00 AM and 3:15–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working in a school and/or with elementary aged students preferred.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work bus schedule (approx. Mon–Fri 6:00–8:00 AM and 3:15–5:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school via the McAllen Van Route.
• Take daily bus attendance.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Communicate behavior challenges to manager/school leader.
• Support arrival and dismissal processes.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
