Job summary

Inspire Centers is seeking a Bus Driver Custodian to transport children safely on fixed routes and maintain a clean, orderly bus and facilities. You will log attendance and mileage, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure safety procedures are followed during daily operations.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish abilities, strong safety awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while communicating effectively with staff, parents, and children.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and/or Spanish.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in bus safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain attendance, mileage, and maintenance logs.
• Keep bus and facilities clean and safe; report hazards.
• Provide/receive written and oral information with staff and parents.
• Assist with safety trainings and emergency bus evacuations.
