Job summary

Wayside Schools in Austin, TX is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluations and therapy across language, articulation, voice and fluency needs in line with IDEA and local policies.

The role requires a Master’s in SLP, Texas licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP, with CFY completion preferred. The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days on site, 2 remote) across all campuses and collaboration with district staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Texas licensure by the State Board required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA required.
• CFY completion preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate language, articulation, voice, and fluency in students.
• Develop and implement therapy goals and objectives.
• Schedule ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with educators.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting.
• Follow district, state, and federal guidelines in evaluation and treatment.
• Communicate with parents and teachers to support student progress.
