Job summary

Vertex Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language services and therapeutic programs. The role focuses on improving communication and learning outcomes, with curriculum-based activities and progress documentation.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a TX license, with responsibilities including collaboration with teachers, supervision of staff, and flexible hours under a four-day on-campus, one-day remote hybrid

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• TX: TDLR State License required.
• Criminal history background check must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Identify students needing speech/language services and provide therapy.
• Deliver curriculum-based therapy and maintain progress reports.
• Supervise staff when needed and consult with educators on accommodations.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with severe language disorders.
• Create engaging learning environments and guide students toward curriculum goals.
• Travel to campuses as required and participate in after-hours events.
