Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a full-time Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join the CPSE program in Queens. The role involves conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for children ages 3–5, delivering IEP-mandated counseling, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists in an on-site school setting.

New graduates with state certification are warmly welcomed to apply.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Certification as School Psychologist.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) or Monolingual eligible.
• Proficiency with BASC-3 administration and interpretation.
• Ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team of therapists and educators.
• New graduates with certification are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children ages 3–5.
• Prepare clear diagnostic, psychological, and behavioral reports.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations for interventions.
• Deliver individual and group counseling per IEP requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings, treatment planning, and case conferences.
• Facilitate communication among clinicians, staff, and families.
• Maintain compliance with NYS CPSE regulations.
