Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is assisting a CPSE program in Queens to recruit a full-time Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.

Working with children ages 3–5, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, provide IEP-mandated counseling, and collaborate with teachers, social workers, SLPs, OTs, and PTs. New graduates with state certification are warmly welcomed to apply.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Certification as School Psychologist.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) or Monolingual eligibility.
• Proficiency with BASC-3 administration and interpretation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children ages 3–5.
• Prepare diagnostic, psychological, and behavioral reports.
• Provide counseling per IEP requirements and support interventions.
• Deliver individual and group counseling and parent training per IEPs.
• Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, and IEP meetings.
• Foster collaborative communication among clinicians, staff, and families.
• Ensure compliance with NYS, CPSE, and agency standards.
