Job summary

Rocky Mountain Prep is hiring an Assistant Principal of Operations to join the campus leadership team on a 100% on-site basis in Colorado. You will own operational infrastructure, lead a robust team, and partner with instructional leaders to remove barriers to learning.

The role emphasizes enrollment, attendance, and persistence metrics, data-driven systems, and close collaboration with families. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and E-Verify is used for employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English; ability to engage with diverse families and communities.
• 3+ years of operations experience with proven system-building and process-improvement skills.
• 2–3 years of direct people management experience; strong leadership capabilities.
• Experience engaging effectively with families, customers, and community members.
• Background check completion required; eligible to work in the U.S. (RMP participates in E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Design and lead daily systems — arrival, transitions, supervision, dismissal — to protect instructional time.
• Manage scheduling, materials distribution, space usage, and event logistics for campus priorities.
• Build scalable operations systems while maintaining focus on high-impact work.
• Maintain accurate scholar and family data systems for compliance and timely decisions.
• steward school budgets and operational resources aligned to priorities.
• Actively recruit to meet enrollment targets and communicate RMP value proposition.
• Lead attendance and persistence initiatives, family engagement, and safety protocols.
• Develop a high-performing operations team through coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to align operations with academics and culture.
