Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Translates written documents between English and Spanish and provides oral translation during conferences, tests, enrollment, and emergencies.
• Experience with video conferencing and using school platforms for communication.
• Requires at least a high school diploma and 48 semester hours of college coursework, with ACTFL Advanced Mid or Superior ratings in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English.
• Translate orally during conferences, calls, testing, and emergencies.
• Assist with enrollment processes and liaison with Latino groups in the community.
• Support staff by translating school communications and notifications.
