Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services in San Ysidro, CA is seeking a bilingual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in a collaborative school setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, provide direct therapy (individual and group), and work with teachers and families to enhance communication skills and classroom success. CFs welcome; CA SLP license required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• Bilingual preferred; CFs welcome.
• Experience with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
