Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in a San Diego school setting.

The role involves evaluations, direct therapy, and collaboration with educators and families to help students improve communication in the classroom. The SLP will develop IEP goals, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress while utilizing AAC and assistive technologies as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
