Job summary

East Bay Agency for Children in Oakland, CA seeks a School Based Behavioral Health Navigator who is bilingual in Spanish to support youth and families. The role collaborates with school personnel, clinicians, and community partners to provide trauma-informed services in home, school, and community settings.

The navigator delivers 1:1 IHBS, facilitates access to resources, documents progress, and helps youth build resiliency within EBAC’s multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in schools, homes, or community settings.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
• Regular written documentation of services.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed navigation services, behavioral coaching, and crisis support.
• Support youth in achieving academic, social, and life goals.
• Provide 1:1 support to youth and caregiver(s) through IHBS.
• Case management and advocacy between youth, families, and service providers.
• Complete daily documentation including progress notes and plans.
• Collaborate with teachers to support therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate services at school sites and communities.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
