Job summary

Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for a School-Based program on-site with Asheville City Schools. You will provide behavioral health services, formulate treatment plans, conduct crisis intervention, and apply evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

The role is full-time and year-round, with potential clinic-based coverage during high-demand periods or school breaks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or clinical mental health counseling.
• Fully licensed with LCSW or duly licensed with LCMHC and LCAS.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Experience completing clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary and integrated care teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services on-site at Asheville City Schools.
• Perform treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with school-based team, families, and interdisciplinary care team.
