Job summary

Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is hiring a Behavioral Health Therapist for a school-based role on-site in Asheville, NC. You will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapies to students within the school setting.

The position requires a Master’s degree in social work or clinical mental health counseling and full licensure (LCSW or dual LCMHC/LCAS). Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or clinical mental health counseling.
• Fully licensed with LCSW or dual licensure (LCMHC and LCAS).
• Experience working with children and families.
• Experience completing clinical assessments and treatment plans.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health services on-site at Asheville City Schools.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and conduct crisis intervention.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with school-based team, families, and interdisciplinary care staff.
