Job summary

Merchants Distributors, Inc. (MDI) is seeking an experienced sales representative to greet customers, help them find what they need, and sell new products. Training will be provided for two weeks before taking over floor administration.

The role requires strong product knowledge, adaptability to an accelerated environment, and willingness to travel and visit potential customers. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of sales experience, a High School or Bachelor’s degree, and bilingual capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and provide customer service to clients.
• Identify, contact and visit potential customers to present products and expand our market.
• Travel to a designated area.
• Maintain and develop relations with existing clients.

• Indicate prices, contract conditions, guarantee delivery dates and prepare sales contracts for orders received.
• Manage customer complaints and resolve any problems.

• Manage the information on prices and sales.
• Organize products on shelves, showcases in stores.
• Maintain the spaces granted and proper order of products in stores.
• Keep POP materials on display.
