Job summary

ICP Group in Puerto Rico is seeking a Sales Representative to grow our coatings, adhesives, and sealants business across the island. You will identify prospects, present product solutions, and close commercial, industrial, and residential projects with General Contractors and Owners.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, field visits, and travel across multiple states within the territory.

Qualifications

• Experience with roofing and coatings.
• Proven sales in closing commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Engaging with General Contractors, Owners, and Decision-Makers to optimize high performance systems.
• Excellent communication (English/Spanish), and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths/weaknesses of solutions.
• Ability to negotiate.
• Ability to problem-solve and decision-making.
• Road Warrior with 50% travel in multi-state and major cities inside of territory.

Responsibilities

• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Recommend products to customers based on needs and interests.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and terms.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Provide customers with product samples and data sheets.
• Identify prospective customers using directories, follow leads, attend trade shows and conferences.
• Prepare estimates and bids meeting specific customer needs.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
• Conduct roof site surveys and prepare sketches/notes.
• Account for number of items and electronics on roof.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, and lift up to 100lbs.
• Complete internal reports and communicate with operations.
• Prepare site survey documents and present findings to clients.
