BioLife Plasma Services in Stockton, CA is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results under the supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Required are an active RN license, CPR/AED certification, and ability to perform IV therapy, plus two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state where duties are assigned.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• CPR and AED certified; able to perform basic IV therapy.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history review and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs and center standing orders.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives; assist with donor safety and EHS guidance.
