Job summary

Qualifications

• Must determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs, including transport to care facilities.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and OSHA-related considerations.
• May serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility; include consent, medical history, testing, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and oversee emergency response per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for undocumented findings.
• Support vaccination programs for staff as applicable.
• Manage workplace incidents with occupational health/ER guidance.
• Coordinate pandemic-related investigations when authorized.
