Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in an ambulatory surgical setting at our Alhambra location. The role requires pre-op, intra-op and post-op nursing care, patient assessments, medications, and education.

Bilingual English/Mandarin and/or Cantonese is strongly preferred to support diverse patient needs. We offer full-time employment in-person at 1668 S Garfield Ave, Ste 100, Alhambra, CA 91801, with a pay range of $43.00 - $54.00 per hour and

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current California License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in PACU or ambulatory surgery preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin and/or Cantonese strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients from operating room and performs nursing assessment from admission to discharge.
• Performs post-op monitoring including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, pain and consciousness level.
• Identifies arrhythmias and interprets EKG data, initiating nursing interventions per orders.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments; documents interventions and reactions.
• Assists with sterile and non-sterile procedures and post-op interventions as required.
• Provides respiratory support and emergency care, including CPR when necessary.
• Delivers post-op teaching to patients and families about recovery and follow-up care.
• Maintains accurate clinical documentation and infection control procedures.
• Supports daily operations and patient flow in recovery and ambulatory settings.
