Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient practice in Alhambra and Whittier, CA. The role focuses on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and value-based care, with an emphasis on serving diverse populations.

Ideal candidates will be fluent in Spanish or Chinese, with geriatric experience preferred, and will hold an active California medical license. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program.
• Active, unrestricted California Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage comprehensive primary care services.
• Perform physical examinations, evaluations, and treatments.
• Manage preventive care visits and chronic diseases.
• Prescribe medications per guidelines.
• Develop evidence-based care plans with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and patient records.
• Coordinate with specialists and support staff.
