Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Excellent assessment skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in basic computer usage (Outlook, email, db entry).
• Good interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Able to teach and educate Home Health Aides.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-service classes for Home Health Aides per DOH & OMIG guidelines.
• Assess HHAs before class and ensure proper attire and safety.
• Supervise use of Durable Medical Equipment and demonstrate body mechanics.
• Explain topics clearly and present material concisely.
• Grade exams and provide tutoring to students.
• Educate HHAs on standard precautions, OSHA, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
