Job summary

X-TREME CARE is seeking a SPANISH-speaking Registered Nurse to serve as the HHA Instructor for part-time DOH-approved certification courses in New York. The role involves organizing, teaching, and evaluating HHA and PCA training to ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has NY RN licensure, 1 year of home care experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. In-person instruction is required, with a schedule from 9am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be a valid NY State RN licensed with 2+ years preferred.
• 1 year home care experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage orientation, teaching and evaluating DOH approved HHA and PCA certification courses.
• Training, inspiring and motivating others to provide exceptional home care.
• Developing, coordinating and conducting the Home Health training program, and in-service training programs
• Maintaining a training program that is in compliance with quality management, department of health and safety standards.
