Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Mayfield, KY. You will support the Store Manager and assist in supervising store operations, customer service, and sales initiatives for both retail and professional customers.

The role emphasizes leadership in the absence of management, completion of day-end procedures, and strict adherence to company policies. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for growth within a renowned automotive parts retailer.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus (ASE certification helpful).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Manage phone calls per company policy and handle buy online/ship to store and transfers.
• Process special orders, returns, refunds, and ensure proper invoicing before leaving the store.
• Ensure compliance with schedules, clocking in/out, and daily opening/closing duties.
• Perform day end procedures, banking deposits, and secure the store at night.
