Job summary

Ojos Locos is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, driving profitability, and upholding brand standards in Texas. This leadership role focuses on coaching managers and hourly staff, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

The AGM will lead Front of House and Back of House activities, monitor labor costs, scheduling, inventory, and financial duties, and support

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of restaurant management experience
• High-volume bar and restaurant experience preferred
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure profitability and operational success
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs
• Hire, train, develop, mentor, and coach management staff and hourly team members
• Lead by example in a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment
• Ensure financial, inventory, payroll, and administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
• Support FOH and BOH operations to maintain high quality food, beverage, and guest service
• Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Operate and troubleshoot POS systems and coordinate with IT as needed
• Develop future leaders through training and succession planning
