Job summary

Ojos Locos is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Weslaco, TX to oversee daily restaurant operations with a focus on profitability, guest experience, and brand standards. The AGM supports leadership development, coaches Front and Back of House teams, and ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and company culture.

You will help manage financial, inventory, payroll, and administrative duties; drive sales growth, monitor performance, and develop future leaders to sustain

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of restaurant management experience.
• High-volume bar and restaurant experience preferred.
• Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure profitability and operational success.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Assist with hiring, training, developing, mentoring, and coaching staff.
• Lead by example to maintain a positive, professional work environment.
• Ensure financial, inventory, payroll, and administrative duties are completed accurately.
• Assist in managing labor costs, scheduling, budgeting, and inventory controls.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and maintenance standards are met.
• Support FOH and BOH operations to ensure high quality food, beverage, and guest service.
