Job summary

Beaverton School District 48J is seeking a Bilingual Resource Facilitator 1 (Spanish) for Cedar Park Middle School. This probationary, full-time role (7.5 hours/day) supports the ELD program and families, providing translation and interpretation services and serving as a liaison between schools and homes.

Ideal candidates are biliterate in English and Spanish with strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work evenings.

Qualifications

• Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using technology applications such as Word and Google Drive.
• Experience working effectively independently and on teams.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Available to work some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Supports the English Language Development (ELD) Program and other programs for multilingual and historically underserved students and families.
• Provides written translation and oral interpretation services for school programs and activities.
• Acts as liaison between assigned school(s) and students’ homes.
• Reports to Multilingual Department Administrators.
