Job summary

Northwest Regional Education Service District is seeking a bilingual Instructional Assistant (Spanish) to support Early Learning at the Tualatin Center. Under licensed supervision, you will assist with classroom activities and implement IEP/IFSP tasks in small groups.

Qualified candidates are fluent in English and Spanish, capable of lifting and assisting students with needs, and comfortable coordinating with teachers and families to support student progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong ability to communicate in both languages, orally and in writing.
• Ability to assist students with special needs physically.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction under the direction of a licensed educator.
• Translate notes between teacher and family in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrate cultural competence for English language learners.
• Assist teacher with assignments and grading; maintain student records.
