We are seeking a Facility Attendant to join our team at our program in Philadelphia, PA.

Earn $16.35 per hour working Saturday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM and Sunday 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Program Details

Fresh Start transitional housing programs were developed to provide 24/7 support to Veterans and individuals with a history of homelessness, chemical dependency, and/or behavioral health issues. Fresh Start has over 150 beds across 12 locations in Philadelphia, PA, operating in partnership with the Philadelphia VA Medical Centers and Philadelphia’s Office of Addiction Services (OAS). Additionally, Fresh Start offers “self-pay” housing options for indefinite stays.

Position Details

Facility Attendants monitor residents' behavior to ensure a safe, harassment-free environment conducive to recovery. Responsibilities include performing building checks for cleanliness and safety, incident reporting, monitoring medication intake, reporting medication issues, overseeing assigned chores, conducting general inspections, and completing mandated trainings.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English / Spanish)
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience working with VA populations preferred
• Minimum 18 years old
